RTSP URL and ports
For a standalone supported camera, use the current Reolink path. RTSP normally uses 554 and ONVIF normally uses 8000, but the values shown under Server Settings are authoritative.
Setup steps
- Open Device Settings and record the exact model and Hardware Version.
- For E1/E320/E321, add the camera to a compatible Home Hub or NVR and configure ports on that endpoint.
- For directly supported models, in Reolink App 4.59+ open Device Settings > device information row > Advanced Network Settings > Server Settings. Enable RTSP and ONVIF when switches appear.
- In Reolink Client, the equivalent path is Device Settings > Network > Advanced > Server Settings.
- Test Preview_01_sub first, then the main stream. Through a recorder or hub, replace 01 with the assigned one-based channel.
- Keep the first test on the same LAN and reserve the endpoint IP in the router.

Functions that need separate testing
A working RTSP stream proves media playback, not every camera feature. Pan/tilt, optical zoom, presets, events and two-way audio depend on the exact model, ONVIF support and client implementation. E1 and E1 Pro are pan/tilt models; E1 Zoom and principal E1 Outdoor variants add optical zoom. Test control and talkback separately.

SmartRTSP is a local RTSP and ONVIF camera viewer for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. After the correct Reolink endpoint works, add it with ONVIF discovery or the exact RTSP URL. Use the substream for multi-camera viewing and the main stream when opening one camera in detail.
Security: Keep RTSP and ONVIF on the trusted local network. For remote access, use a VPN instead of exposing camera ports to the public internet.
